Good shit, buddy. If it wasn't for your shameless self promo I would never have seen it. Nice quick animation for the throat cut and nice pause afterwards which gives time to let it all set in -almost forced a laugh out of me.

Thank you
Great work!
I'm not sure if you mean it literally when you say "the style of humor i invented" or "animation style i created." Both the "humor" and animation style are not original. They may be seen less than other styles, but unless you're a lot older than you say you are, you didn't invent them. Albeit, your project isn't unoriginal.
Apart from that, which has nothing to do with my score, I found it to be very enjoyable. You did a fantastic job with the animation and perspectives - really a pleasure to watch. I'm usually a fan of dark humor but I didn't see any. The scene that came closest to having it was with the main character vomiting on the road kill (human sized hamster), which could be funny on it's own, but isn't in context with the rest of the very serious short. Without the humor, it's pretty dry. That's not a big deal, seeing as humor is personal opinion and others seem to think it's funny. I enjoyed concentrating on the art and animation.
Good luck. Hope your teacher gives you a critique with some helpful advice.
i thought reaching into a public toilet was pretty funny- seeing him wince XD
Im sorry bout coming across so big-headded bout the 'inventing' thing. What i really tried to do was meet the aspects together to create the style as a whole. Of course every aspect was already invented, dark humor, simple drawing, style of animation, but it was the combination and strict discipline in keeping these strong is what makes my style unique. Well, thats how i felt and what inspired me to make it :)
Thanks for the review :D

First part was fantastic. Great humor, great animation, great situation and characters.
As for the second part, it looks like you're in a difficult position. Most people don't enjoy that type of humor. The people who do may not think it's creepy enough to be very funny. It's right in the middle. Most people may not have found the humor in the first part, but you have the great animation/violence/and action to back it up.
YOur pretty much right, but again I dont really give a damn if alot of people like this movie.
Its based on an inside joke anyway.

Don Rickles did a lot more than say "fucking" in every other sentence. Throw in some actual jokes or some kind of substance. A very watered down Don Rickles isn't too funny. Also, the voice acting was a little dull. I understand if you don't want your parents or neighbors to hear you yelling some of the things that were said in this animation, just needs some work. Decent job.
I see what you're saying, but there are many jokes in here. Maybe they aren't ones with a set-up and a punchline, but that's not the way I make my cartoons. As for Don Rickles, I only used him because he's an angry old man and that's the kind of character I wanted for this cartoon.
P.S. I don't live with my parents, asshole.
Spend some time, create your own work
I'm tired of those slow shithouse art shorts too. Five minutes long - a tween a minute. Nice mock animation. Clown might give some people seizures. Not worth saving however.

Good, needs more action
Like some others have said, it was repetitive and could have used a little more movement. CS may be less "run and gun" and more about precision, but throwing in some running and diving etc. as well as different angles would make this more enjoyable. I know the editing must be hell on an animation like this.
Yes, it was hell lol
repetative? I get that alot
thanks for the review!
It's hard to rate
Almost all of this animation was knocked off. There's very little original work. The butterfly is from the flash tutorial, the two main characters and backgroud are straight from "synj" (which is very close to your title), the tiny sasquatch looks like an Adam Phillips character, and the fight sequence could have been traced from a Dragon Ball Z episode. Apart from the unoriginality, it's decent. If animating is just a hobby for you, then go to town pulling parts of your favorite animations together. You have a fairly high score. Just don't take much credit for any of it.
Not sure about the butterfly thing since I never seen it and dont remember any DBZ battle (too many eps anyways) but yeah some chars were based off other animations. I started this as just a practice and didnt plan on posting it till I put most of it together so I just left it as is. I'll change stuff around next time.
